Candle Burning and Safety
To ensure the safe burning of your candles, please follow these guidelines:
- Remove all packaging before lighting the candle,
- Place container on a protected, heat-resistant, dry surface, away from anything that is flammable,
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets,
- Keep wick(s) trimmed to ¼” at all times. If smoking occurs, extinguish the flame, trim wick, and relight,
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or any combustible material,
- Keep the wick centered,
- Avoid burning candles in air drafts,
- Keep candles in sight at all times,
- Never leave burning candles unattended,
- Do not use if the glass is cracked or busted,
- Do not allow the flame to touch the side of the glass,
- Handle with care, the glass may become very hot
- To minimize wax left on the sides of the jar, burn at least 3 hours at a time,
- Prevent possible heat damage to counter/surface by discontinuing use when ½” of wax remains
- Extinguish carefully.
